Terms of Use for Homemade Meals, LLC

Welcome to Homemade! Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) carefully before accessing or using the website, mobile applications, or blogs (“Sites”) provided and operated by Homemade Meals, LLC (“Homemade,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

Your access to and use of these Sites is contingent upon your acceptance of these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, including our Privacy Policy, you must not use or access these Sites, or order, receive or use the meal ingredients or other products or services made available through the Sites (“Products”). If you are using these Sites or Products on behalf of any other person or entity, you represent and warrant that you have authority to accept these Terms on behalf of such other person or entity and that such other person or entity agrees to be bound by these Terms.

Homemade may revise, change or modify these Terms at any time in our sole discretion and with or without notice. Your continued use of the Sites and/or Products, after we post changes to the Terms or Privacy Policy, confirms that you accept such changes and all of the terms incorporated therein. If you do not agree to the changes in the Terms or Privacy Policy, you must not access or use the Sites or Products.  

Terms of Sale

Meal Subscriptions: We offer different subscription plans for our Homemade meal kits (“Subscription”). For information on meal kits and pricing, please see the “Subscribe” section of the Site. For additional information, please see the “FAQ” section on the Site.

Continuous Subscriptions: HOMEMADE MEAL KIT SUBSCRIPTIONS ARE CONTINUOUS. WHEN YOU REGISTER FOR A MEAL SUBSCRIPTION, YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT (A) HOMEMADE (OR OUR THIRD-PARTY PAYMENT PROCESSOR) IS AUTHORIZED TO CHARGE YOU ON A WEEKLY BASIS (OR BI-WEEKLY, ONCE A MONTH OR ONCE EVERY 2 MONTHS) FOR YOUR MEAL SUBSCRIPTION (IN ADDITION TO ANY APPLICABLE TAXES AND OTHER CHARGES) FOR AS LONG AS YOUR MEAL SUBSCRIPTION CONTINUES, (B) THE AMOUNT YOU ARE CHARGED AND THE NUMBER OF MEALS YOU RECEIVE EACH WEEK MAY VARY DEPENDING ON THE PREFERENCES YOU SELECT, AND (C) YOUR MEAL SUBSCRIPTION IS CONTINUOUS UNTIL YOU CANCEL IT OR WE SUSPEND OR STOP PROVIDING ACCESS TO THE SITES OR PRODUCTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THESE TERMS.  YOU MAY SKIP YOUR WEEKLY MEAL ORDER AS OFTEN AS YOU'D LIKE BY MANAGING YOUR SUBSCRIPTION PREFERENCES FOUND ON YOUR ACCOUNT PAGE.

Cancellation: All orders are final. You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent auto-renewal. Please note, any order(s) or Product(s) identified as processed or shipped cannot be canceled. An order is considered processed once it is renewed on Wednesday mornings. If you cancel your meal kit subscription, Homemade may still send promotional material. You may unsubscribe from these promotional materials at any time.

Discounts and Promotional Codes: All discounts and promotional codes do not apply to shipping charges unless specifically outlined in the offer.

Purchases: In order to purchase any Product through the Homemade Site, you must supply your payment information. Product prices are shown in U.S. dollars and do not reflect applicable taxes. Products may be subject to sales tax, and the Product price shown at checkout may be adjusted to reflect the applicable sales tax. Homemade charges a flat $15 shipping and handling fee, in addition to the Product price, and delivers to all continental United States. We reserved the right to change the shipping and handling fees. Shipping times shown on the Site are estimates only and may vary. These Products are for personal use only and may not be used for resale or commercial purposes.

Deliveries: You are responsible for inspecting all Products you receive from Homemade for any damage or other issues upon delivery. You are also responsible for determining the freshness of the ingredients you receive. You should always inspect your delivery to confirm that the meal kit ingredients arrive in a cool, refrigerated condition. If you have any reason to believe that any Product in your delivery package has not arrived in the proper condition, contact us immediately at support@cookhomemade.com.

If you are not at home when your meal kit arrives, the messenger or delivery driver will leave the package at your address. Any individual or location that accepts a delivery from Homemade is presumed by us to be authorized to receive this delivery and does so in accordance with these Terms. Our meal kit ingredients are packed with reusable ice packs, which typically keep them fresh and temperature-safe for several hours. Upon delivery, and prior to use, you are responsible for properly storing and refrigerating all products.  We recommend that you follow the USDA’s guidelines on food storage and safe food handling, available here:

Failure to follow safe food handling practices and temperature recommendations may increase the risk of foodborne illness. In addition, pregnant women, young children, the elderly, and individuals with compromised immune systems should follow the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s recommendations on food consumption for at-risk groups, which can be found here:

Returns & Replacements: If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your meal kit, or any part of your order, please contact support@cookhomemade.com within seven (7) days of delivery.
